Update

So, I know i am really behind on updating this... but I am trying to get better at keeping it updated.
Last post was Christmas and a lot has happened since then.....

She started saying Dada at the beginning of January :) and Daddy couldn't be any happier! Justin has been playing, I guess you would call it... monster with her, so now if you growl at her she growls back. She flirts with everyone when we go out.

Mid January her 1st tooth came in, the right front bottom tooth.

The end of January she had an ear infection in her left ear, which i have to say she did pretty well with it. She didn't nap very well, she had 1 really fussy day but if it wasn't for the fever she had for several days you would have never known that she wasn't feeling good.

As of the end of January she weighed 14lbs 2oz at 7 1/2 months old. She is wearing 3-6 and some 6-9 months clothing.

She has also started to use her sippy cup :)

She now claps her hands and is just now starting to wave "bye-bye". She is just an all around happy baby! :)

She still has not started to crawl, but with her being so small for her age I think she may be a little behind on that... She loves jumping in her Baby Einstein Jumper and she will stand up for a bit while she is in it, but she has no interest in crawling. We believe she may skip the crawling stage and go straight to walking.

Kaylee's First Christmas

So Kaylee's First Christmas was pretty hectic, but then again what Holiday isn't?

A Few Days before Christmas we took her so see some Christmas lights and she was soooo excited. She was so amazed by all of the moving lights.

Then on Wednesday, December 23rd we took her to see Santa for the first time. I was so worried about how she would do with him, after all she is going through a stage where she doesn't want anyone to hold her except Mommy, Daddy, or the sitter Jen. I know most babies/kids don't do very well with Santa so I was expecting to go there and her scream the whole time. But she surprised us all!!! She did great!! I love the picture we have of her with him it is priceless :)

Christmas Eve we went to Aunt Cheryl's house where she got to play with her cousin Carson and she got to open her first present ever. After we left there we had to go to my Aunt & Uncle's House, she did pretty good there but ended up sleeping most of the time we were there.

Christmas morning she opened her gifts from Santa and Mommy & Daddy. Then her Nana and Pop Pop came over and had breakfast with us and she got more gifts. Then she napped while we got ready to go to my parents house. She got more presents then layed down for a nap while we went to the Hospital to visit Nanny. When we got back it was more family, food and gifts. Needless to sat she slept VERY good that night :)

And we aren't even done with Christmas yet, we still have some family and friends that we need to catch up with.

6 Month Check-up (A little late LOL)

At her 4 Month Check Up on 10/11/2009 her measurements were:

Height 23 1/2 inches 23% percentile of growth
Weight 10 lbs 9.2 ozs 3% percentile of growth
Head 15 ½ inches 12% percentile of growth

When she saw the doctor at 5 months she weighed 11 lbs 10 ozs

And at her 6 Month Check Up on 12/15/2009 her measurements were:

Height 25 inches 23% percentile of growth
Weight 12 lbs 8.6 ozs 2% percentile of growth
Head 17 inches

The Doctor said she is growing on a great track, she is just a small little girl, but VERY healthy!! She is now eating just about all fruits and veggies (she does NOT like Bananas! Must get that from her Daddy) The Dr. said to go ahead and start her on 2nd stage foods which she has been eating for a month now. She loves eating lol, she eats 2- 4 oz jars plus a bottle afterwards. She eats oatmeal with fruit for breakfast which has helped out with her constiaption.
